From: Low testosterone levels relate to poorer cognitive function in women in an APOE-ε4-dependant manner
The relationship between freetestosterone levels and global cognition by APOE-ε4 carrier status in both sexes. Using multivariable linear regression, we revealed a significant freetestosterone by APOE-ε4 interaction and global cognition in female APOE-ε4 carriers only. In males, there were no significant effects of free testosterone levels nor its interaction with APOE-ε4 on global cognition.
